A scary situation played out this morning during the Dolphins’ training camp session as offensive lineman Bayron Matos went down during a play and was later airlifted to a nearby medical facility.

Matos played his collegiately ball at New Mexico and South Florida, last playing for the USF Bulls in 2022. season before signing a reserve/future contract in January of 2025.

This is currently all the information that is out there about the injury. Any injury that requires a player to be airlifted out to a medical facility is certainly a scary one and we can only hope Matos will be okay after being checked out. Per ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jaques, Matos is currently in stable condition.
