Hector Fort seems to be inching closer to the exit door at Barcelona ahead of the new La Liga season.
The Catalans are said to be willing to sell the right-back after deciding that Jules Kounde and Eric Garcia will be their options for the 2025-26 campaign.
Diario AS reporter Javi Miguel now says that Barcelona have made another decision when it comes to Fort.
He posted on X: “Hector Fort’s days are numbered. The club does not plan to give him a first-team spot. Gerard Martin will have a first-team number.”
There’s been talk of several clubs keen on Fort in recent days. AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Ajax have been mentioned along with Girona, Real Mallorca and Paris FC.
Fort therefore seems to have plenty of options ahead of the new campaign, with Hansi Flick seemingly not convinced enough of his qualities to include him in his plans.
