Club América has certainly been a bit quiet in the off-season. While clubs like Tigres and Toluca have been making splashes, the Eagles patiently waited to break the market.

Well, now their patience has been rewarded after it was reported that Barcelona’s forward Bruna Vilamala is heading to the Coapa club on a two-year deal.

she decided it was time to move on.

The 23-year-old will now be reunited with her former Barcelona teammate Sandra Paños and her countrywoman, Irene Guerrero.

After a win in their opening game of Clausura 2025 against Cruz Azul, América will seek to put an end to their fame as the runners-up of Liga MX Femenil this season. Will they be able to do so?
