It is August, the final full month of summer (noooo!) and the Red Sox are back after an off-day (yaaayyy!) which also happened to be trade deadline day (exciting!!!!) but the Red Sox didn’t do anything to meaningfully improve the team (of course!!!)
So what’s the next? The recently re-Correa’d Houston Astros are here for three in the Fens, followed by a visit from the Royals. It was at about this exact point in the calendar when the Sox began their collapses each of the past two seasons. Let’s try
