Talk of Barcelona potentially making a big sale before the end of the summer transfer window is continuing, with Fermin Lopez seemingly in the sights of Manchester United.
A new report from Diario Sport claims that the Red Devils are willing to splash out €70 million to land Fermin. No official bid has been made, but Lopez and Barca are aware of the interest.
Fermin is thought to be a great fit for Ruben Amorim’s side, with the Premier League outfit willing to almost double Lopez’s salary if he heads
to Old Trafford.
So what next? Well, Hansi Flick is a big fan of Fermin but also knows he has too many midfielders and something may have to give.
There’s already been talk of Casado being offered up for sale and what seems clear is that Barcelona are willing to listen if attractive offers arrive for players such as Casado, Fermin and Ronald Araujo this summer.
Lopez wasn’t a regular starter last season but was still a really useful player for Flick. He scored eights goals and bagged eight assists in all competitions but only started 12 times in La Liga.
