Barcelona winger Jan Virgili has reportedly attracted interest from La Liga side Real Mallorca this summer.
Virgili had a brilliant summer with Spain’s Under-19s and has been training with the first-team squad so far in pre-season.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Mallorca are keen on the winger along with four other La Liga clubs.
Mallorca and Barcelona have already done business this summer, with Pablo Torre heading to Jagoba Arrasate’s side, and may be in contact again over Virgili.
The 18-year-old has
since dropped back to Barca Atletic for pre-season, meaning he may not go on the club’s pre-season tour of Asia.
Competition for places in the Barcelona attack is fierce at the moment and has been made more intense by the arrival of Marcus Rashford.
There’s no doubt at all that Virgili is a talented prospect, but he may have to decide whether he’s willing to be patient at Barcelona or ready for a challenge elsewhere.
