The Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs ended the night with one of the wildest finishes in NBA Summer League.

With the game on the line in OT, Kyle Filipowski got the ball and made this incredible poster dunk to tie things up.

Filipowski was the best player on the floor all night. He finished with 35 points and 11 rebounds, shooting 11/19 from the field and 5/8 from three. It’s clear that Filipowski has proved

he’s an NBA player and more. The only reason he’s still playing is likely because the Jazz have almost no bigs without him. At one point, Cody Williams had to play center, and it did not go well.

But the excitement was short-lived when the Spurs came back and Riley Minix hit this buzzer-beater to seal the win.

It was a fun game for Jazz fans who were disappointed at missing another chance to see Ace Bailey play.

With Ace Bailey out, it has given the Jazz a chance to see more from other players like Isaiah Collier and Cody Williams. Williams has been very good in the summer league. Tonight, his numbers weren’t as good as the earlier games, but he still had a lot of positive impact on the floor. It’s now two nights in a row that Williams has 3 steals. He also had another 4 assists in this game, the same as last night, as well as 2 blocks. His shooting is going to be the big swing skill, but we’re seeing him handle the ball well and drive to the basket. The makings of a good player are there, it’s just going to take some more development to get to whatever he can become.

We also got to see the first game for John Tonje and he was really good! Tonje shot 4/7 from three in this one while dishing out 3 assists and grabbing 3 rebounds. It’s only one game but it’s a great sign of what he could possibly be as a player.

Finally, we got another weird game from Isaiah Collier. He dished out 12 assists, which is great, but he went 5/17 from the field. You can tell he’s frustrated, especially when that anger boiled over with his late technical. At some point, he has to figure out an offensive game outside of just driving to the basket. Maybe he can do it, and there’s no reason to draw too many conclusions yet, but there’s been a weird vibe from Collier this summer league, and it has to be his own frustrations coming out. It’s a big season for Collier, who is now competing with Walter Clayton Jr., who is already looking NBA-ready.
