Obviously, what happened last year is not guaranteed to happen again this season, but it at least looks like the Deacs tried to make their non-conference schedule a little bit tougher this season than they have

the past few years. Wake is only playing 1 team that was ranked 300+ in KenPom (Morehead) and has 4—potentially 5— teams on the schedule that were in the top 50 last season (Michigan, Texas Tech, Purdue, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt). That should hopefully put an end to the yearly tanking of the metrics due to underperforming against really bad teams.

Go Deacs!
