Welcome to the 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championships!

It’s the last of the quarterfinals and — for us — this is the big one. A strong but far from invincible France side await a wounded Germany, down two right-backs and licking the wounds of a 4-1 blowout loss to Sweden to close out the group stage.

But these are the knockouts and the slate is clean. The Germans looked reasonably promising before having a calamity of a day last weekend. They’re just 90 solid minutes of football away from advancing.
