As an undrafted free agent out of Colorado, the 6’3,” 350 pound veteran defensive tackle played from 2017-23 with the Cincinnati Bengals, who of course, new Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo coached from 2019-23 in the infamous land of Skyline Chili.
So,
the Colts coaching staff is already well familiar with Tupou, who figures to provide backup rotational nose tackle depth—if he makes the final 53-man roster after training camp and preseason.
Tupou spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens, recording 3 tackles and a sack during 3 games.
The 6’11,” 310 pound Wilson spent part of this past October on the Colts practice squad for a short stint before being released. The Colts re-signed Wilson back to a reserve/future contract in early January.
Wilson reportedly suffered a pectoral injury last week during training camp.
