While the Nationals have shown some fight, they have come up short in their first two games in Kansas City. They just have not quite had the pitching to get the job done. Now they look to avoid the sweep as they wrap up the road trip.
Miguel Cairo has made a couple changes to his lineup. After a couple days off, the struggling Brady House will be back in the lineup. Drew Millas will also get the start behind the dish today. Robert Hassell III will remain in center field over Jacob Young. Jake Irvin
will get the ball for the final game of this series.
With a righty on the mound, Mike Yastrzemski will be back in the leadoff spot. John Rave will also get a start in the outfield. Otherwise, it is a very familiar lineup for the Royals, who are fighting for their playoff lives. Their ace Seth Lugo will be on the mound.
