on concealing his identity, Gunther rolled him up for the pin to retain his title.

Footage of the moment circulated online, showing Penta’s face partially exposed as he tried to put his mask back on. Out of respect for lucha libre tradition and Penta’s privacy, Cageside Seats has chosen not to show the unmasked footage here.

Billed as a SuperShow, the event marked WWE’s return to live touring for the first time since March, leading up to WrestleMania 41. According to WrestleTix, just under 5,800 tickets were distributed for the American Bank Center, which was set up to host over 7,600 fans.

WWE continues its Texas roadshow tonight at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg. Per the arena’s website, Penta and Gunther are scheduled to meet again for the World Heavyweight Title. Whether WWE will play off Saturday’s events or reenact the finish remains to be seen.
