Luis Díaz and Bayern Munich are a done deal!
According to Fabrizio Romano (via @iMiaSanMia), Luis Díaz will travel to Munich tomorrow to have a medical and sign his Bayern contract.
After what was nearly a month of back and forth, Liverpool has finally agreed to sell the 28-year-old to Bayern. Another report from Romano states that the exact fee is €70m + €5m add-ons, for the deal until 2029. It was also said that the amount was rather easy to reach.
The Colombian winger pushed for the transfer, owing
to failed contract extensions with the English side. He will surely be a massive asset to the Bavarians, who are in need of a new winger following the departure of Leroy Sané to Turkish side Galatasaray. He has the work rate that Bayern desperately needs, apart from decent pace and good output. Additionally, he has physicality, an attribute that will be of major help to the Rekordmeister in their European pursuits.
Servus and welcome to Munich, Luis!
