The UFC flyweight division took center stage Saturday night as the promotion returned to their home base for the first time since May.
In the main event of UFC Vegas 108, 125-pound up-and-comers Tatsuro Taira and Hyun Sung Park battled it out in a pivotal contest at UFC APEX in Las Vegas. Taira entered the bout looking to bounce back from his first ever loss to Brandon Royval 10 months ago at UFC Vegas 98, while Park competed in his first UFC headliner after winning his first 10 professional bouts
and finishing his last nine opponents.
Taira made it look effortless, dropping Park early in Round 1 before closing out a dominant round. At the start of Round 2, Taira hoisted park in the air and slammed him to the mat before delivering a nasty face crank submission to improve his pro record to 17-1.

Tatsuro Taira is very talented and that loss against Royval has only helped him improve. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him as UFC Flyweight Champion in 2026 #UFCVegas108
