Good morning, BBN!

The Kentucky Wildcats’ summer workouts have been buzzing with talk of just one name: Trent Noah.

The rising sophomore from Harlan County has become the unofficial king of catch‑and‑shoot threes, as teammates and coaches alike continue to rave about his shot.

Jaland Lowe, the veteran Pitt transfer, even called him “maybe the best shooter I’ve ever seen” after just two weeks at practice.

Freshmen like Malachi Moreno are equally impressed: “He’s the best shooter in the gym,” Moreno said.

“Even when defenders are right there, he somehow still gets it off.”

Fellow newcomer Braydon Hawthorne added, “Trent, he doesn’t miss”. That kind of high praise shows just how lethal his offseason development has been for Noah.

During his freshman season, Noah appeared in 24 games, averaging 2.7 points in 11.1 minutes while shooting 33.3 percent from deep (12‑of‑36).

He had a standout night against Tennessee, drilling three triples in the first half and finishing with 11 points in just 19 minutes.

If Noah’s hot hand continues into the regular season, he could well become one of UK’s most reliable outside threats and earn serious minutes on a deep roster.

Tweet of the Day:

Getting Stokes would be massive.
