WHAT'S THE STORY?

The Washington Commanders are back in Ashburn for the second day of training camp practices. Head coach Dan Quinn spoke to the media before practice

and talked about rebuilding the line. He clarified Sam Cosmi’s recovery time, and we got to see him walking around at practice today. Quinn said the team is focusing on building the trenches, and a returning Cosmi is part of that, whenever he’s cleared.

Terry McLaurin missed his second day of training camp as he continues to holdout for a new contract.

Several wide receivers had their names called today as football continues without Terry on the field, including former Ravens fourth-round pick Chris Moore and undrafted free agent Ja’Corey Brooks. Deebo Samuel caught Jayden Daniels first touchdown of training camp yesterday on his first pass in 11-on-11’s.
