Travis Bazzana was 3 for 5 with three pulled balls, including a double. Rodney Boone didn't give up a run, and Jake Miller is looking good in relief.
Lake County 9, Quad Cities 1
Big night for Ralphy Velazquez
who went 3 for 4 with two doubles, a triple and five RBI, and for Christian Knapczyk who went 2 for 4 with a double. Josh Hartle also went five scoreless with six K's.
Lynchburg 7, Fredericksburg 2
Melkis Hernandez went five scoreless with six strikeouts and Welbyn Francisca hit a triple.
ACL-Guardians 7, ACL-Diamondbacks 3
Dauri Fernandez is making waves as a third baseman in the ACL and went 3 for 4 with a double. On a rehab assignment, reliever Tyler Thornton struck out four batters in one inning of work. Yes, you read that correctly.
