Tony Hill
played wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys from 1977 to 1986, after being selected in the third round out of Stanford. Known for his deep-threat ability and smooth route running, Hill became a key target in the Cowboys’ passing attack during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was a three-time Pro Bowler and led the team in receiving yards for nine straight seasons. Hill played in Super Bowl XII and XIII, winning the championship as a rookie. He ranks among the franchise’s all-time leaders in receiving yards and touchdowns.

Best known for:
Hill was best known for being Roger Staubach’s primary deep-threat receiver, stretching defenses with his speed and contributing to one of the most potent offenses of the late ’70s and early ’80s.
