Khalil Mack took a step back in sack production during the 2024 season but he was still extremely impactful for a Chargers defense that led the league in points allowed during the 2024 regular season.
That impact was noticed and it’s culminated in Mack making another appearance on the annual NFL Top 100 list voted on by the players. This year, the veteran has come in at No. 78 after recording six sacks, six tackles for loss, nine pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He was once
again named to the Pro Bowl, giving him his ninth honor of his career.

Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz made it a priority to bring Mack back for at least one more season to help keep their defense amongst the leagues best. With Joey Bosa now elsewhere, the pass rush is now even more propped up on Mack’s shoulders, along with third-year rusher Tuli Tuipulotu and veteran Bud Dupree.
