After going 4-8 a year ago, Arizona needed to make some major improvements to the on-field product. It also stood to get better off the field, particularly within and around Arizona Stadium on gamedays.
The upgraded versions of both will make their debuts Aug. 30 for the 2025 season opener against Hawaii.
Arizona has announced a series of gameday improvements meant to enhance the fan experience. The school had previously announced its “Bear Down Deals,” a collection of concession items with reduced
prices, but there will also be some new offerings.
The stadium will have a “Food Truck Alley” parked underneath the West bleachers. Options include Coffee Cure, El Perrito Sonoran Dogs, Dippin’ Dots, Chick Fil A, Solid Grindz Hawaiian BBQ, Drink MKT, Sir Vezas Tacos & Tots and a beer patio.
Before getting into the stadium, though fans, can enjoy pregame concerts on Bear Down Field. The first of the Bear Down Bash shows, ahead of the Hawaii game, will feature Drew Cooper and Future Syndicate, with additional performers scheduled for the six other home games and before the men’s basketball Red-Blue Showcase on Oct. 3.
Arizona has added more premium seating for football games, including on-field suites—called the Cat’s Cabana—that will ring the north end zone, as well as a pair concourse-level tent areas. Fans can also purchase a variety of gameday experiences such as accompanying the football team during the Wildcat Walk, getting to run out of the tunnel with the team, getting an on-field photo and hanging out in the radio booth.
Free poms will be handed out at each entrance for every game, part of the in-game enhancements that will include more fireworks, new videoboard interactive elements and a 50-50 raffle.
As in the past, Wildcat Fridays encourages fans to wear red and blue the day before each home game, and to amplify that fandom the school is selling unique gameday T-shirts for each home contests.
