Barcelona boss Hansi Flick is reportedly not interested in letting Fermin Lopez move away from the club this summer.
There have been whispers about interest in Lopez throughout the summer, with Manchester
United the latest club linked with the 22-year-old.
The Red Devils are said to be willing to splash out 70 million euros on Fermin but that will not happen if Flick has anything to do with it.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Flick “doesn’t want to hear about him leaving” and has even previously told Lopez that after reading speculation in the press about his future.
Lopez also sought to reassure his boss that he had no interest in moving away as he is determined to succeed at Barca.
Barcelona’s over-abundance of midfielders appears to have fuelled speculation about the futures of Fermin and Marc Casado - two players who have come through the academy and are deeply committed to the club.
