Barcelona have confirmed that midfielder Pablo Torre is leaving the club and will join La Liga rivals Real Mallorca.
Torre has already been spotted in Mallorca for a medical and to sign his contract and the deal is now officially done.
Barcelona haven’t mentioned any numbers in their official statement but do confirm they have a buy-back option and percentage of a future sale.
Here’s the official line:
“FC Barcelona and RCD Mallorca have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Pablo Torre.
ADThe blaugranes retain a buy back option and percentage of any future sale of the midfielder. The Club wishes him all the best for the future on and off the field.”
It’s a shame to see Torre move on. He’s a real talent but has simply found it difficult to enjoy the game time he wants at Barcelona, such is the competition for places in midfield.
Let’s wish him all the best at Mallorca. Good luck, Pablo Torre!
