assistant Kenny Johnson, who was on former head coach Tom Crean’s staff during Oladipo’s time with the program. Their ties go deeper than Indiana, with Johnson having coached Oladipo during his time in AAU with Team Takeover.

Bloomington wasn’t his only stop in the Hoosier State. He was spotted sitting near the court during the Indiana Fever’s win over the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday evening.

The 33-year-old Oladipo is in the process of attempting an NBA comeback. His last action at the professional level came with the Miami Heat during the 2023 playoffs, where he suffered an injury and was held out of the remainder of the team’s run to the Finals. He was later traded to the Thunder, Rockets and Grizzlies before being waived by Memphis. Eventually, he joined ESPN as an analyst.
