Ato Ampah was among the fair number of Academy youngsters who got to make their senior debuts this season — our Conference League journey quite helpful in that regard — and now the 19-year-old has put pen to paper one a new contract to secure his future with the club as well.
Chelsea have announced a new three-year contract good through 2028 for Ampah, who was part of the squad that traveled to Kazakhstan on Matchday 5 of the UEFA Conference League group stage last season. He would feature for the entire
second half of our 3-1 win against FC Astana.
When not traveling to far off lands, the right winger was a mainstay of our PL2 lineups. With a new contract secured, he will be looking to find a good loan for the season ahead.
Congrats, Ato!

In related news, Chelsea announced the incoming class of Academy scholars today, and among the new faces are Reggie Walsh, who already had a senior start, as well as Isago (Mendes da) Silva, son of Thiago Silva! Pretty cool.
Good luck, all!
