In what has been a remarkable series so far, the A’s find themselves going for a 4-game sweep in Houston. Mark Kotsay is so excited about the idea that he has put out a ridiculous lineup that sits new media darling Nick Kurtz while Jacob Wilson rests his sore wrist another day and Tyler Soderstrom also sits. Only 5 players are asked to play defense at positions to which they are not ideally suited.
In the game which marks the 2/3 point in the season, JT Ginn gets the start for the A’s against LHP
Colton Gordon. Hopefully Ginn has his “grounder to 2B” pitch working, as balls hit elsewhere figure to be a coin toss.

- Austin Wynns (R) C
