Amir Albazi has been pulled from UFC Vegas 108 with a medical issue.
Stepping in to replace the 125-pound “Prince” on short notice is undefeated flyweight up-and-comer and “Road to UFC” alum Hyun Sung Park, who battles No. 6-ranked Tatsuro Taira atop the revised UFC Vegas 108 fight card
on Sat. night (Aug. 2, 2025) on ESPN and ESPN+ at the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.Park (10-0) was originally scheduled to face flyweight veteran Steve Erceg in the UFC Vegas 109 lineup the following
weekend (Aug. 9) but matchmakers will have to find a new assignment for “Astro Boy.” Park, 29, competed earlier this year at UFC Vegas 106, scoring a first-round submission victory over Carlos Hernandez.
A dominant performance for Park would leave him atop a very short list of eligible title contenders for current 125-pound titleholder, Alexandre Pantoja. “Peace of Mind” has nine finishes in 10 wins and picked up his first “Performance of the Night” bonus by steamrolling Shannon Ross at UFC Vegas 83 back in late 2023.
