Barcelona defender Hector Fort has reportedly already risked Hansi Flick’s wrath by turning up late for the start of pre-season on Sunday.
The German coach had ordered his players to report by 9am but Fort did not arrive until well past that time, according to Diario AS.
Fort’s tardiness has already earned a reprimand from Flick and it’s thought he will be sanctioned, although it’s not clear yet what punishment the coach will deal out.
Flick has previously dropped Inaki Pena and Jules Kounde for being
late to team meetings, with Fort the latest player to have fallen foul of Flick’s strict rules.
The report adds that Fort was late after attending Lamine Yamal’s birthday party the night before which lasted well into the early hours.
Yet Yamal had no problem turning on time for the start of pre-season. He was pictured smiling and joining his team-mates on time at the Ciutat Esportiva as he turned 18.
