Tonight’s (July 18) episode of SmackDown kicked off with a situation outside the arena where United States Champion Solo Sikoa and his MFTs were shaken up after being involved in a car crash.

Police at the scene were soon looking backstage for Jacob Fatu as a person of interest, but he wasn’t in the mood for dealing with their bullshit.
Jacob Fatu, you have some explaining to do... pic.twitter.com/FmkXA85KVo

That set the
stage for the MFTs to hit the ring and accuse Fatu of recklessly driving the car that him them. Solo went on to take credit for all of Jacob’s success in WWE. But he should have known better because once a criminal, always a criminal.
We then saw on the big screen that the police let Jacob go after reviewing the footage. Now that he was no longer a person of interest, the only thing Jacob was interested in doing was attacking the MFTs. He and Jimmy Uso did just that, and a wild brawl broke out in the ring.
"You are NOT the person of interest."

What were you saying, Solo? Once a criminal, always a what? pic.twitter.com/xvFo6Wimfe
JC Mateo and Tonga Loa got their asses kicked in the ring as they helped Solo make his escape.
Solo thought he was out of the woods, but GM Adam Pearce showed up to punish him for trying to frame Jacob for causing a car crash. Solo tried to have Jacob locked up, so Adam decided that Sikoa will be locked up with Jacob in a steel cage match for the United States title at SummerSlam.
I guess Solo didn’t get the hint, because he he was pretty happy to see the police arrive. Little did he know they were there to arrest him.
How the tables have turned
