According to a report from Bild journalists Julian Agardi and Leon Potuzhek (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart are still engaged in the stand-off — Bayern does not want to up its offer and Stuttgart does not want to budge on its expectations:
VfB Stuttgart’s supervisory board discussed Nick Woltemade last Tuesday. The unanimous result of the meeting was that the club will maintain its firm stance. Only from €65m will they show willingness to negotiate. Bayern are currently
ADunwilling to pay that fee. Both clubs are firm in their positions and a potential deal is at a standstill. Meanwhile, Woltemade is desperate to join Bayern.
For Woltemade, this is...unfortunate. The likelihood is that there will be some communication between the two clubs, but it is very questionable that one of the clubs will cave in from their current stance.
