As football season quickly approaches, the NFL has officially given NFL RedZone access to ESPN.
The NFL and ESPN have agreed to a massive blockbuster deal that now gives ESPN rights to RedZone, NFL Network, several regular-season games, fantasy football, and potentially even more.
This deal is potentially worth billions of dollars, and there will be an official announcement from Disney in the coming days.
According to The Athletic, this deal will continue to bring a direct-to-consumer service that will be
live in the next few weeks and will likely cost around $29.99 per month for subscribers.
This service will allow all of us to bypass cable or satellite providers to watch all ESPN programming, including live games, through ESPN’s app.
ESPN also has the rights to two upcoming Super Bowls as well (2027 and 2031).
There has not been a term length agreement yet between the two parties, according to The Athletic, and the NFL will be earning 10% of ESPN’s equity.
As Cincinnati Bengals fans, and as a Bengals fan that does not live in the local region, we have a new way to watch Joe Burrow and Co. in action each week.
