What a walk-off last night! I won’t comment on the trade deadline here, or grumble about our starting rotation. (Oh, wait…did I just…)
Walker Buehler (who coincidentally seems to start whenever I recap) showed definite signs of improvement in July, even if he was searching a bit for his command in his last outing against the Dodgers. But I’m willing to keep an open mind there.
Oh, who am I kidding? I was supposed to fly out this morning for a family vacation but I’m still heavily medicated and not
able to sit down long enough to get on a plane so I’m not in the mood for Buehler to take a day off. I need this one, okay?
Today, we switch from our Lucky Greens to our Saturday Yellows and hope that the magic continues, or that the tough have gotten going, or something. If anyone needs me, I’m watching and writing from bed. Sigh.
