Lamine Yamal was the star of the show on Saturday as Barcelona beat Real Mallorca 3-0 in La Liga.
Barcelona’s teenager set up Raphinha for the first goal to send Barcelona on their way and then scored a brilliant third goal to seal victory.
He posted a few photos of the match afterwards on social media along with the message: “The party for the 10.”
Manager Hansi Flick wasn’t too happy with his team’s performance after the game but did have some words of praise for Yamal.
He told reporters: “As I’ve said before, he always wants to play well and help the team. Lamine is a special player and everyone can see it. From what I see in training, he is very motivated. In matches, he also fights and defends. I’m very happy for him.”
Yamal certainly seems in the mood for Barcelona for the new campaign. He was in the goals in pre-season and has now opened his account in the team’s first game of the season.
