Country music star and aspiring pro wrestler Jelly Roll guest-hosted the July 16 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC.
One of his guests was WWE’s Randy Orton, and that was probably all we needed to guess there would be something to promote Jelly Roll & Orton’s upcoming tag match at SummerSlam
against Logan Paul & Drew McIntyre. But we also got a rumor telling us one was probably coming, and sure enough...McIntyre interrupted the Viper’s interview to restate the case he & Paul argued on SmackDown last
week, saying that Jelly Roll doesn’t belong in WWE. Orton told Drew no one came to see him, then the two brawled there way off-set.
The host acted flustered and tried to call for a commercial, and that’s when Logan came strolling out to huge boos from the studio audience in Los Angeles. The YouTuber told the “Son of a Sinner” singer to stay in his lane, calling him a “greasy, redneck prison rat”. When Jelly Roll started to respond, Paul slapped him across the face and tried to take over the show.
Then he got goozled and chokeslammed right through the desk.
Jelly Roll finally got it to commercial, but not before telling us to stick around for a Joey Bada$$ musical performance. What a pro.
