The Tennessee Titans waived/injured WR Treylon Burks today. It is a tough ending for the former first round pick. Burks was only able to play in 27 games in his three years in Tennessee. He caught just one touchdown pass.
This move doesn’t really change anything for the 2025 Titans. There is no shot they were counting on him to be a big part of the offense this year - even though he came into camp “in the best shape of his life.”
In the corresponding roster move, the Titans signed WR Ramel Keyton.
The former Vol was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft. They cut him back in April. In this time in Las Vegas, Keyton caught one pass for seven yards. That is just three fewer catches than Burks had in 2024.
