Johnkensy Noel was the only other player to reach base safely twice,
going1-for-3 with a walk.
Starting pitcher Doug Nikhazy was ho-hum, allowing four runs on five hits with two strikeouts and three walks in 4.2 innings.
Will Dion and Franco Aleman were excellent in relief, combining for 2.1 scoreless frames.

The top of Akron’s batting order had a disappearing act on Saturday, combining to go 0-for-15 with one walk.
Wuilfredo Antunez had a strong day, going 2-for-4 with a home run and a double while Joe Lampe went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks.
Starting pitcher Trenton Denholm got knocked around for five runs on six hits with five strikeouts and two walks in 3.2 innings.
Zach Jacobs and Ross Carver were excellent in relief, combining for 4.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen, but with the score tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, Matt Jachec gave up a pair of hits and a run to take the loss.
Lake County Captains 2, Fort Wayne TinCaps 3 (F/10)

Lake County managed just five hits in an extra inning game, although three of them were doubles. Jaison Chourio, Esteban Gonzalez and Juan Benjamin all doubled and Ryan Mitchell reached base safely twice, going 1-for-4 with a walk.
Starting pitcher Jackson Humphries allowed two runs on one hit in 2.2 innings. He struck out three and walked five.
Alonzo Richardson and Tyler Naquin were excellent in relief, with Richardson pitching 3.1 scoreless innings and Naquin adding 2.0 scoreless, hitless frames.
Lynchburg had a double header scheduled, but it was rained out.
