a graduate assistant at Baylor under Scott Drew, where he assisted in the development of guards like Davion Mitchell, MaCio Teague, Jared Butler, Adam Flagler, and LJ Cryer. Bakamaus won a national championship with the Bears in 2021.

He then moved to Tucson as he was named the Director of Player Development for the Wildcats before being promoted to assistant coach this past season. The trajectory of Bakamus’ career is on the right path as he impresses at every stop he has made on his basketball journey.

Gonzaga’s coaching tree continues to reach all corners of the country and grow deeper with moves like this. Best of luck to Rem in Lubbock!
