The Braves have made a trade.
#Braves traded RHP Michael Petersen to the Marlins for cash considerations.

Atlanta sent reliever Michael Petersen to the Marlins for cash considerations. Petersen joined the Braves earlier this season and had a 4.05 ERA across 6 2/3 innings this season. He appeared in four games overall for the Braves with 5 strikeouts.
Petersen will return to a former team of his in the Marlins as he threw five games for them last season. He also has options, so he will go to the minors
for now.
Of course, this could be the first of multiple bullpen arms that could on the move from the Braves if they truly embrace being sellers at the deadline. It will be interesting to see what type of market forms for several of Atlanta’s arms, and if the Braves will move any arms that they control beyond this season. Regardless, this is likely the first of many roster moves the Braves will make in the coming days and weeks.
