We are into the training camp season, and that means that injuries are what are on everyone’s mind.
However, until we have one that will last the season, not something overly worried about until the real games start getting missed.
And even with the news on Walter Nolen likely missing most of training camp, if not all, it is disappointing, but not the same issue as it was even last year with Darius Robinson. Why?
Well, the Arizona Cardinals have finally invested along the defensive line in both the NFL
Draft and free agency.
The question becomes how many defensive lineman make the roster and who are the final two?
Let’s take a look at the defensive line room, maybe a potential strength for the first time since...
Defensive Line Guarantees
Calais Campbell
Dalvin Tomlinson
Darius Robinson
Walter Nolen
These four are on the roster, and I almost added Justin Jones but I will leave that for the next group.
Defensive Line Next Group
Justin Jones
Bilal Nichols
L.J. Collier
Dante Stills
These four will make up the final three defensive line spots in my opinion.
Depth/Practice Squad
P.J. Mustipher
Anthony Goodlow
Elijah Simmons
Patrick Jenkins
Kyon Barrs
Jess and I talked about it on our podcast, but this is a fun group with depth and different styles/abilities.
How do you see the depth chart looking?
