After convincing victories in each of the last two days, Milwaukee has now won four of its last five games. The Brewers still have the best record in baseball, at 66-44, heading into today’s series finale against the Washington Nationals.

Today’s starting pitcher is RHP Logan Henderson, recalled in place of Jacob Misiorowski. Misiorowski hit the IL early this morning with a left tibia contusion. Henderson, Milwaukee’s No. 5 prospect per MLB Pipeline, has a 1.71 ERA through four big league starts.

Washington’s starter today is fellow rookie Brad Lord, who boasts a 3.27 ERA, 3.47 FIP, and 59 strikeouts over 74 1⁄3 innings through 37 appearances (eight starts).

Brice Turang leads off today’s lineup in place of Sal Frelick, who is day to day with a meniscus (knee) issue. William Contreras, who has seven hits in his last three games, remains in ths two-spot. The red-hot Andrew Vaughn is hitting third again today, followed by Christian Yelich, Isaac Collins, and Blake Perkins. Anthony Seigler (at third in place of Caleb Durbin), Brandon Lockridge (in right field), and Joey Ortiz round out the lineup.
