The UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 finals if here!

Only Spain and England remain, but who will be the ones lifting the trophy?

The All For XI team makes their predictions...

Melina Gaspar:

I think it’s safe to say that Spain is the favorite to win this Euros for the first time in its history. Not only do they have two Ballon D’Or winners in the midfield but they also have highly underrated players in the team, such as Patri Guijarro. The conductor has been smashing some records in this Euros and making a true

display of brilliance. Of course, they have more players worth mentioning, but that would take a while and I don’t want to rant for too long.

What else plays a major part in deciding who’s the favorite? Well, the fact that Spain has never won this competition before and it’s about time the reigning World Champions write their names in European soccer. And what’s better than doing it than by taking the crown from the reigning European champions?

Besides, history says that no other national team besides Germany has been able to win this competition back-to-back. However, if there’s someone who can do it, that’s a team whose coach is none other than Sarina Wiegman.

Amanda Westlake:

I predict Spain will win! England have had a mixed tournament, and their defense has often looked vulnerable. They nearly lost to both Sweden and Italy in the quarterfinals and semifinals, and were saved by heroic goals from breakout young player Michelle Agyemang. England is a good team, and they shouldn’t be written off, especially as the reigning Euros champions. But Spain’s technical ability, especially in the midfield with Aitana and Alexia, is just so good. I predict that the game will be very close, but Spain will triumph.

Tyler Trent:

The Euro 2025 Final has all the feel that it’s going to be another 120-minute match. I think Spain takes it 2-0 in that extra 30 minutes of play due to the sheer strength of the squad and England running out of steam. Michelle Agyemang and Chloe Kelly have made some wonderful memories for football fans, but I think Spain’s midfield and defense will lock the reigning Euro champions down for the entire match with no late goal antics.

Phuoc Nguyen:

If this match is played on Spain’s terms, England will not stand a chance. The Lionesses must stay discipline in defense to have any shot of winning. The amount of talent and depth Spain possess is by far the best in the tournament, however not a single team can match England’s physicality.

Could Aitana Bonmatí, Alexia Putellas, and Patri Guijarro dominate in midfield and steamroll the opposition’s defense? Yes, but this match could be very similar to Spain’s semifinal match against Germany.

If that match is one we can expect...

This game could be tied in the final 15-30 minutes which would allow Chloe Kelly and Michelle Agyemang to make the difference late in the match.

It’s going to be a nail-biter, but I think it’s Sarina Wiegman and the Lionesses who find a way to win it again.
