AEW was back in Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on Thursday night (July 17). The second night of their Second City residency saw the promotion tape matches and segments for the All In Texas fallout edition of Coliision, which is set to air on TNT tomorrow night (Sat., July 19).

What happened at the taping Chi-town? Here’s what, according to a report from Ringside News, and fans in attendance who posted about the taping online...

  • Colt Cabana is a guest commentator for the episode.
  • New TNT champ Dustin Rhodes opened the show with a promo to celebrate his big win last Saturday, but was cut off by Don Callis & Kyle Fletcher.
  • Alex Windsor def. Taya Valkyrie (who was accompanied by Johnny TV and MxM Collection)
  • Athena appeared in one of the Ballroom’s balconies with her Casino Gauntlet contract. Timeless Toni Storm hit the ring and demanded Athena come down and sign the contract and make their match official. She didn’t.
  • Ricochet def. AR Fox with an assist from Gates of Agony
  • Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta) attack Cabana at commentary. Mox ends up choking a bloody Colt out by hanging him over the ropes with his chain.
  • Megan Bayne def. Tay Melo
  • In the $200K 4-Way Tag match between The Gunns, Big Bill & Bryan Keith, Gates of Agony, and CRU, Colten Gunn appeared to suffer a leg injury during the match. Most reports didn’t have an outcome for the match, but social media mentions that Gates of Agony won and that Action Andretti took the pin.
  • Max Caster’s latest 5-minute open challenge, was answered by Kyle O’Reilly, who then submitted the Best Wrestler Alive.
  • RUSH def. Katsuyori Shibata with an assist from The Beast Mortos.
  • Bandido, JetSpeed & Máscara Dorada def. The Callis Family ( Hechicero, Josh Alexander & Rocky Romero & Lance Archer in the latest All-Star Tag.
