Bayern really might be looking at Trossard (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)

Right now, Bayern Munich seems like it will land Liverpool winger Luis Diaz (it actually seems inevitable at this point), but that does not mean that a bid for Arsenal FC’s Leandro Trossard is out of the question:

Bayern have been linked with a move for Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli as well, but Trossard has emerged as a “new idea” for them. Arsenal want Trossard to sign a new contract extension at the Emirates, but Bayern can offer him a better deal.

by German agent Dirk Hebel, who is also the agent of Marco Reus. Christian Falk has told CFBayern that Trossard is “definitely” on Bayern’s list. The Bavarian club have made contact with the player’s camp, and they can “offer more”.

The Bild journalist said: “Leandro Trossard is a new idea. Gabriel Martinelli has been on the list for longer. Bayern had contact with the Arsenal winger’s management, but in the meantime, the club also got in touch with Trossard’s management. This is because he has had a new agent from Germany since July. His name is Dirk Hebel – he’s the agent of Marco Reus. Reus, at the time, played for Gladbach when Max Eberl was the sporting director, and was sold to Dortmund. It was a big transfer for Gladbach, with BVB activating a €17.5m [£15.1m] release clause.

“I heard there was also contact with the management again because of this player. So he is definitely on the list, like Martinelli, and I know that Arsenal want to give him a new contract. But I think Bayern Munich can offer more.”

It would be easy to say that Falk could be just stirring things up, but the Sport Bild journo was pretty much dead-on with his reporting when everyone else was shouting him down.

Šeško not interested in Saudi move (ESPN)

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško has heard the rumors that the Saudis would like him...and he is not even going to entertain the thought:

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has no interest in a switch to the Saudi Pro League. He has recently been linked with Al-Hilal (Fabrizio Romano).
