Simon Moore: 6/10
Was left stranded by Le Fee’s pass for the opener but thought he could have done a little better for the second, with the shot being quite central. Was fine otherwise.
Trai Hume: 7/10
More like the old Hume tonight, was getting into tackles and joining in attacks, creating chances for both Le Fee and Mayenda.
Dan Ballard (C): 7/10
A comfortable evening for Ballard and he even got involved in our goal, winning the ball to start the attack.
Jenson Seelt: 6/10
Didn’t really do anything wrong but didn’t look at ease when the play got more physical. Did well on the ball
though.
Harrison Jones: 6/10
A bit out of position early on, getting too close to Seelt and allowed his man to get a shot off. Competed well against a tricky winger though.
Noah Sadiki: 7/10
Seemed to be everywhere, sitting in front of the back four, an option going forward and always trying to get the ball back.
Habib Diarra: 7/10
Neat and tidy on the ball and would suddenly take a quick touch and be away on the attack.
Chemsdine Talbi: 6/10
Seems to be growing in confidence as he gets used to playing in the side, very tidy on the ball but taking his man on more. Got an assist after picking out Adingra.
Enzo Le Fee: 6/10
An odd game for Le Fee, some really good moments going forward but then made a crazy back pass attempt for the equaliser and was a bit casual in possession on occasion. Almost got a goal after a nice touch and shot but could only hit the side netting.
Simon Adingra: 6/10
Looks like a box of tricks but maybe needs to use his pace a bit more. A tidy finish into the bottom corner for our goal and linked up well with Le Fee.
Eliezer Mayenda: 6/10
Another quiet game for Mayenda, only really got one chance when he got on the end of a good Hume ball, wriggled away from a defender and forced a save.
Substitutes
Timur Tutierov: 6/10
The winger played at right back tonight and did well defensively and burst forward a few times with his strong running.
Tom Lavery: 6/10
The right back filled in again at centre back and did OK against a big striker.
Jenson Jones: 6/10
Outmuscled for the winner but stuck at it in an unfamiliar centre back position.
Niall Huggins: 6/10
Could have got closer to the scorer for Hull’s second.
Dan Neil: 6/10
Did well to dribble into the box shortly after coming on but Roberts took the ball and then ended up not shooting. Seemed a bit casual throughout.
Alan Browne: 6/10
Put the effort in but couldn’t keep hold of the ball.
Patrick Roberts: 6/10
Almost played a really good ball through to Ogunsuyi and kept coming inside to make something happen without much success. Really should have shot after taking the ball off Neil’s foot.
Milan Aleksic: 6/10
Looked dangerous again down the left hand side again, using his pace to get in behind his man.
Trey Ogunsuyi: 6/10
Almost got on the end of a Roberts ball but couldn’t quite get away.
Ahmed Abdullahi: 6/10
Started some counter attacks after winning the ball deep in his own half but nothing came of them.
Man of the Match: Noah Sadiki
Had a bit of a shocker against Hibs at the weekend but was very good tonight, seemed to cover every blade of grass, often at the same time! Provided cover for the back four, was always nipping at Hull’s heels trying to steal the ball back and was always an option going forward too.
