As we enter week 4, Mexico celebrated the Liga MX Femenil’s 8th anniversary on July 28. Despite the league being quite young, it continues to lead the way for many leagues, not only in Latin America but also around the world.
Happy anniversary, Liga MX Femenil! Here’s to many more!

Is Eugénie Le Sommer MVP material?
Les Bleues’ top goalscorer
arrived in the league with a lot of anticipation and after 168 minutes on the field, she’s proven that she’s ready to go. Le Sommer, not only scored in her debut but also after only three games, she has registered three goals and one assist including a sensational brace in the latest match against Tijuana.
Y así fue el segundo para Le Sommer.

More Eagles to the nest
On Monday, Club América announced the signing of a new player. Jordan Brewster joined the Eagles on loan from NWSL’s Bay FC.
After beginning her professional career in Sweden in 2023, Brewster joined Bay FC ahead of the club’s inaugural season and has appeared in four matches with the club.
About this move, Director Matt Potter said: “Jordan has been a valuable part of Bay FC’s journey, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s brought to the club, on and off the pitch. Club América provides her a fantastic opportunity to continue developing her game in a competitive environment. We’ll be following her progress closely and look forward to seeing what the future holds for her.”

Atlético de San Luis win and how’s the table shaping
There weren’t many surprises in week 3 regarding results. However, Atlético de San Luis surprised many when, after 90+ minutes, the score finished with a 1-0 win for them against Cruz Azul.
San Luis was able to keep one of the league’s top goalscorers, Aerial Chavarin, at bay, something not many have been able to do. This win is the club’s first this season and could be the jump-start for them after not having a good tournament last season.
Y así marcha la Tabla General tras 3 Jornadas del #Apertura2025... Peeeeeero hay partidos pendientes.
