
Earlier today, the rumors that Austin Riley would be activated in time for Friday evening’s series opener for the Atlanta Braves against the Texas Rangers turned out to be true. Riley is back and he’s going straight into the lineup. Let’s start off by taking a look at the Braves lineup for tonight’s contest:

Riley is indeed int he lineup but he’ll be batting fifth as the top four is reserved for Jurickson Profar leading off, the All-Star 1-2
punch of Matt Olson and Ronald Acuña Jr. and then Drake Baldwin being one of two catchers in the lineup, with Sean Murphy playing the actual role of catcher and Baldwin being the DH. Hopefully we’ll see this combination puts some runs on the board this evening.
