Marcus Rashford’s future is generating plenty of headlines this summer, with Barcelona the main club being linked with the Manchester United outcast.
The forward is known to be dreaming of a move to Catalunya, but it’s not clear if the feeling is completely mutual.
There’s been plenty of talk about Rashford in recent days, but Fabrizio Romano has now offered a bit of clarity on the situation.
He has offered an update and says Barcelona are “yet to decide on whether they want to proceed” with a deal
for Rashford or not.
Romano adds that there have been no talks just yet and reports Barcelona still haven’t made a final decision on which winger they want after missing out on Nico Williams.

It’s not about loan or permanent. No club to club talks yet as it’s all about Barça internal decision on winger they want.

The update therefore suggests this saga may still have some way to go even though Barcelona are now back in pre-season training and preparing for the new campaign.
Barcelona are also still working behind the scenes to return to the 1:1 rule, meaning any move summer transfers may have to wait until towards the end of the window.
