Another season, and another year of me rumblin’ bumblin’ stumblin’...across the newly released media guide at 4:45 in the afternoon on a Wednesday. I say it annually, but this is arguably one of the best days of the year in the ‘CardinalStrong’ household (I may have been smashing refresh on the media guide page multiple times a day for the last few weeks, allegedly). When Louisville drops the annual football media guide it means we are getting flooded with information, and the football season is officially

A little bland for my liking, would have preferred a traditional cornucopia of players or some flash (insert horse joke) but I’ll settle for a no nonsense helmet view if necessary.
While covers are nice, I don’t pick up the media guide for the pictures, I’m more of a “read the articles” type guy. And once again my favorite “article” has been omitted. I think we have to face the music and come to the painful realization that Brohm is not a media guide depth chart guy. I can respect it, even understand it....but I still don’t like it. Give me something to chew on Jeff, something to nit pick less than 6 weeks until kickoff. Sure, it means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, but since when has that mattered to my overall happiness?!
In the mean time, lets take a peek at the “official” roster sorted by last name and number. If you’re interested in reading more about each one of these guys, I don’t know, maybe check out ‘The Cardinal Countdown’ in your spare time. I hear the guy putting those together is pretty solid. Breath it all in, and hit me up with your thoughts below.
