In the Kansas City Chiefs’ 10th training camp session at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph on Saturday morning — another padded practice — a total of seven players were held out.
Cornerback Kristian Fulton (knee) — still on the team’s Active/PUP (physically-unable-to-perform) list — has missed every training camp workout. Tight end Jake Briningstool missed his sixth straight day of practice. Safety Deon Bush (hamstring) pushed his string to four days. Wide receivers Hollywood Brown (ankle)
and Skyy Moore (hamstring) each missed their third day.
On Friday, linebacker Drue Tranquill strained his back. He was held out on Saturday, along with second-year tight end Jared Wiley.
With both Briningstool and Wiley out, undrafted rookie Tre Watson had extra opportunities to play with the first team.
During practice, defensive end Charles Omenihu was shaken up on one play. After the trainers worked with him for a while, however, he was able to return to work.
No other injuries were reported in Saturday’s session.
