Today, Racing Louisville assistant coach, Carmelina Moscato, was announced as the new head coach of Al-Qadsiah Women in Saudi Arabia.

She spent the past few seasons working with head coach, Bev Yanez.

Racing Louisville are off to their best start in club history at the midseason point.

It was also announced today that Racing Louisville and FC Rosengård (Sweden)

have agreed to a paid transfer for defender Elli Pikkujämsä. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We’re wishing Elli the best as she heads off to Europe,” said Racing’s general manager, Caitlyn Flores Milby. “Elli was not only a solid player for us but also a great personality in the locker room. We sincerely appreciate all of her contributions in Louisville and hope to see her make a big impact for her new club.”

In 2023, she made 18 appearances (15 starts) and tallied a goal for the club. In 2024, she suffered a knee injury - Pikkujämsä made her return to the pitch this season.

Internationally, she has earned 30 appearances for the Finland Women’s National Team which includes the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 and the 2024 Pinatar Cup that her country won for the first time.
