Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović has suffered a broken orbital bone per a release from the club on its website:

Aleksandar Pavlović will be missing from FC Bayern for the time being. The 21-year-old midfielder suffered a fracture of his eye socket in training for the German record champion on Friday. Pavlović has already been successfully operated on.

Sky Sport journalist Kerry Hau says it will take three-to-four weeks for Pavlović to recover:

This will certainly change the preseason plans for Vincent Kompany.

The Bavarians finalized the much-anticipated signing of Luis Díaz from Liverpool FC to give the team a new look at left-wing? Will the 28-year-old get an early starting nod or will Vincent Kompany hold him out a bit longer? That will be just one of the key decisions made for the match against Olympique Lyon at the Allianz Arena.
